We've already gone through sort of the media wave of, hey, Walker, what's it like to play against the Dodgers?
That's not what we're talking about.
We're talking about the here and the now.
We're talking about what happened in terms of Walker Buehler going from the Red Sox to the Phillies.
Out of nowhere, then out of nowhere, finding his way.
Let me give you some stats to prove it because we're all about science.
Walker Bueller with the Phillies has appeared in three games.
Two of them have been starts.
13 and two-thirds innings.
He's given up one run.
That would be an ERA of 0.66.
And that obviously is after being let go by the Red Sox after having a 5.45 ERA.
That would be 23 starts, 22.
He was moved to the bullpen at the very end.
I got to imagine the Red Sox would have liked to have that version of Walker Bueller, the version that the Phillies got when the rubber met the road in the playoffs at the end of the season.
If for no other reason, just to have a little bit more depth.
I don't know if he would have started over Conley early in game three.
