And you're running four minute pace on 100k and then you go up a hill and back down.
And every time I came down the hill, the knee was penetrating from hitting the ground and stuff.
So that was at me from about 20k on, I ended up getting to about 60k.
And I was out in front, I was on pace and all for breaking the Irish record.
And the knee was just aggravating.
If I hadn't have stopped, I'd have damaged myself altogether.
I'd done a good few training sessions for it, but it was hard.
It was fairly hard not to stop it at all.
I had to stop it all during the 100K, the first one.
But yeah, I think around 60K is where the body just stops and then it comes into the mind then, you know.
But yeah, I have a strong mind in running.
I think a lot of the time my results are from my mind and not my fitness, like, you know.
But yeah, training for 100k, it's like you're doing 60, 70k long runs before you actually do the 100k itself, like.
Yeah, it's to focus up the body completely, like.
Well, my family were coming up to support me and I said to them, I'm going to be running for the good to eight hours.
I said, don't come up too early because you'll be standing around for ages.
They came up on the second last lap.
