This country...

has been the cradle of democracy around the world.

This country has been the penholder for some of the most powerful words written into the English language which guarantee the fundamental rights and the equal worth of every human being on this planet.

We were there writing the UN Charter, the Fundamental Charter of Human Rights.

We were there the penholders of so much of the international law which holds up democracy, freedom, human rights and stands against tyranny.

We did it in the 20th century.

We've got to have the confidence and the courage to do it in the 21st.

Oh, to remove ourselves from the platform.

Yeah, we could do that.

I think the reason why I haven't done that personally, because I could do that, leave the studio and do it.
