Will you stand no matter what?
I think the problem with a coronation, and this for me is kind of a principle thing,
I think we will all be better off if we're tested.
Even with the paralysis of that contest and how long it will be.
It doesn't need to be lengthy and drawn out.
I do think we will be better to have our ideas tested.

I've known Andy Burnham a long time and I've seen him a long time.
I think I've got a measure of him.
And I think I've got a measure of his strengths.
What I'm not clear on, and people would probably say the same thing about me as well.

There may be other people who want to come forward as well.
It should be a contest of the best candidates.
