The edge of my constituency in Hainault, where there are high levels of child poverty, and we're on the edge of London, so you're on the top of the London Basin.
You can see on a clear day into the city.
You can see Canary Wharf.
You can see the city of London, two of the richest places on earth.
Those opportunities feel as far away from kids in my constituency in poverty as Manchester.
I could see from the top of my block of flats the city of London and that was a world away from where I was.
Come with me to the estuary towns of Kent and you will find people who feel the same resentment towards London.
And the inequality in our country and the way you would find in the old cotton mill towns around Manchester.
And as for infrastructure, come with me down to Cornwall.
Come with me down to Devon.
