From what I gathered, again, from what I heard and from reading the reports, it was a case of Galway again, whatever about the wides, did a lot of damage against the wind today.

Similarly what they did to Offaly in the league earlier this year as well, so...

There were three points up having played against the strong wind in the first half.

Eventually Galway were in by 2.26 to 1.18.

The goals came reasonably late in the game.

Conor Cooney and Rory Burke got them.

Aaron Island with nine points.

Rory Burke again impressive finishing up with one two.

Offaly kind of stuck in that game.

As Murph mentioned they were kind of three four points down for the best part.

Ocean Kelly gets the goal you're wondering if there's going to be a kick but it was Galway who finished the game out much stronger and I saw him on the reports as well it was 19 wides actually that Galway had during the game and they missed quite a few goal chances that was in John Fallon's report which is in a few of the newspapers tomorrow as well but all the damage done in the first half I saw someone saying as well Skel quite aside from the wides that Galway have hit the last couple of weeks do you reckon that Conor Cooney is going to get back in and be a fixture in this team again or is he now in the role of impacts up?

Yeah, I guess from an Offaly perspective is the fact that game was tight.

I know people see the kind of the final scoreline and think, OK, well, Galway pulled away there towards the end of it.

But Offaly took an unmerciful beating from a 14-man Galway team at home last year.

This all seems to be moving in a much better direction at this stage.

And that's even with the injuries they had coming into this weekend.

I'm not sure if guys are going to be back for the Kilkenny game.

Breckin Kavanagh went off the last day.

Dan Ravenhill is a knock now at the moment as well.

But we shall see if they're back.
