I see a couple of people were saying... Sorry, go on.

So the league was a little bit concerning, but I was always mindful that during the league, and I will not turn around after being pessimistic at the end of the league and say, oh, look, it all looked like it was coming true as some kind of master plan by the end of it.

It was difficult to gauge because they were coming up against teams that are just at a much higher level than them in Division 1A this season.

And that was physicality, that was style of hurling, that was a little bit of everything.

And aside from the Warford game and at times against a very changed Kilkenny team, off he looked out their depth.

the big beating that took obviously was the Tipperary game Cork sticking was it six goals in the Mimparkey Queve as well was worrying and the type of application from the team against Cork wasn't great I remember watching the stream for that night and just thinking they're letting Cork just run through them here like not even put a hand on someone as they went through

And I thought maybe that was just dropped heads and a concern when it came around to the Championship.

And then I looked at the performance last week against Dublin, and a lot of those aspects that you'd really be hoping for, you know, the harrying, the blocking, the hooking, all that type of stuff, the kind of non-negotiables that you have to have from a team if they're going to turn somebody over, were all there.

And then it was just melded with a little bit of good play from the likes of Skrini and Charlie Mitchell, who've got that little bit of kind of talent in the forward line.

And next thing, the scorelines are starting to creep up more to where they need to be.

1.18 is roughly what Offaly are going to need to hit.

They kind of are struggling to get to 20 points in a lot of the games in Division 1A.

And now, it's funny, you talk to people, and I was chatting to a couple of people on Friday, and they were saying, why can't Offaly now target wins against Wexford and Kildare and get to five points at the end of this?

And the more I think about it, why not?

Like last year they played very well in Wexford Park, didn't get points in the game, could have won that game.

Watching Wexford the other day, if Wexford are in the type of form that they were against Kilkenny, hopefully it'd give them a very good game.

I'd still make Wexford probably just about favourites to win it, but why not give them a good goal?

And then obviously they have to go and beat Clare one way or another if they're going to stay up for next season.

Geez, I would have taken your hand off at the start of this if someone turned around and said you'd have five points at the end of it.
