It's so mind blowing at the time.
And so we ended up doing that.
We ended up combining the agencies.
And lo and behold, this is the craziest thing, man.
Three months later, Blaine lands us an opportunity to pitch a pharmaceutical company out of Indianapolis known as Eli Lilly.
Uh, we had been doing a little bit of work for the agency with one of their products.
And so we just kind of, you know, met through the work.
I knew nothing.
Again, I had no reference point.
Again, you still couldn't really look up anything on the internet.
All I knew is that a lot of agencies were starting to get big in the digital space.
One of the hot agencies at the time was Razorfish.
And I was watching this meteoric rise.
And some of these companies were starting to list to go public.
And I said, this is just too big of an opportunity.
I've got to attach myself to something bigger than what I've got.
I've got to accelerate my growth.
And so they end up buying essentially half of my agency.
And by that point, I'm still running the agency as CEO.
They didn't want to run a digital agency.
