Okay.
But later on, as time would evolve and soon the internet would come around, think about it.
By the time people were building the first web pages on the internet, I'd been building stuff like that for 10 years.
Like none of it was new to me.
right?
When the web came around and HTML had maybe 40 commands, I was like, this isn't complicated.
This is no different than a lot of the stuff I've been doing.
So I just happened to be in this pole position to build internet technology when most people didn't understand what the internet was.
In my family, I've got a very big family, about 80 cousins.
No one's ever been to college.
Everyone just works kind of hand to mouth.
And one of the things is the day you graduate high school, you're on your own.
There's no like, hey, hang out at home.
There's no we're putting you through college because there is no college.
And so when I turned 17, or around the time I was 17 when I graduated, I moved out of the house almost like the day I graduated.
I got two full-time jobs.
During the day, I was a telemarketer selling mainframe computers.
This is circa 92.
At night, I made delicious sandwiches at this place called D'Angelo's, which was like a subway at the time.
