Okay. There you go. The hypothermia was too rapid onset. They attributed the rapid onset to starvation, but the problem with starvation is that they weren't starving. Yeah, they were eating minimum 2,400 calories a day. Minimum 2,400 calories a day. Yeah.

And yeah, it's a lot of hiking, but at the same time, that's probably a lot more than we ate the day that we hiked up a much more difficult climb.

quickly and effectively lethal yep is incredibly unlikely if one or two of them had died chemical weapons might seem realistic if all of them had died chemical weapons might seem realistic Six out of seven is weird.

Yeah, it would have had to be they walked over some kind of gas mine or something.

Right. Also, this was not, like, just a random hiking expedition, and I regret not including this in the video because I think it would have made everybody understand a lot more clearly, but I also didn't know how to properly explain it because I didn't understand the concept. But the short version is this was part of a massive recreational event called, like, the Toreata or something.

Can't remember the exact Russian term. So these were Kazakh hikers. uh, in Russia as part of something where you had people hiking all over Russia and specifically a lot of groups in this area. So there were at least two other groups within a couple of miles of them when all of this happened and they were totally unaffected. So this one group is affected in this one spot.

One of the weird things is had they continued a couple hundred yards before camping out the night before they would have been in a shelter. There was a retransmitter tower up on top of this one peak. that had a shelter in it that they could have stayed at. Like, that was expected that they were going to do that. There was firewood. There was water. There would have been some food supplies.

And instead of going to the shelter, they stop and set up camp on a barren mountain slope. And the thing is, before that, they had been descending to the tree line to camp and then coming back up to hike. So they were going down to the tree line, camping, eating, going back up to the ridge, walking along the ridge.

It makes no sense that they made that decision, but really what gets me is when you look at the symptoms as they are described, it wasn't starvation. Hypothermia only makes sense if you go by the 1990s version of events, which was not audio recorded. It was not a direct interview with her. It was basically they had her explain what happened,
