Difference is of the essence of humanity.
Difference is an accident of birth, and it should therefore never be the source of hatred or conflict.
The answer to difference is to respect it.
Therein lies the most fundamental principle of peace.
Respect for diversity.

And I'd actually, well, I forget a lot of things I read.
So, you know, first of all, there's a bounce in ignoring it, but it's very difficult when you get this and these comments.
But it's absolute ignorance anyway.
I have asked previously, I've asked going back over the years, people who post some of the comments like this, to please, I'd more than welcome to meet them and explore the facts behind their comments, but they don't, because they can't debate it, because they're not facts, it's disinformation, it's ignorance, it's their own insecurity and their vile, vile comments.
So that hasn't materialised.
But I also, when I read it, I think of a number of people, including my late uncle, Gary Kilgallen, and Catherine Louise Adsmall, and Terry Mackay, and Lalu Bagwin, and Rapide Motiart, Tony French, and so many more who were the founders of the Irish anti-apartheid movement back in 1963 in relation to South Africa.

My late uncle, who fought against injustice throughout the world and against racism, he dedicated his life to it.
But he did, you know, they did pay a price, especially going back to that time.
