It's these guys they have drafted, and yeah, they have added around them in trades and so forth, but that is the path back to the promised land.
People can get excited about, again, your own players, people that are drafted, developed players,
come through, yeah, there's going to be some meager, tough years for these guys, but you root for them differently than somebody who just comes in on a big ticket on July 1st.
So, again, it's nice to see, obviously, the Canadian team, you kind of root for that a little bit as well.
I know it is not always easy rooting for these teams, but in this sense here, it's great to see, and again, Montreal is one of those buildings that
I never got to play there in a playoff atmosphere, but I was always told from players who've been through it, whether it was Lappie or Higgy, that it's arguably the best building, loudest building, most entertaining building to play in at this time of year.
There's no question that Dallas Mini series you're watching very closely.
Colorado is always fun to watch, but they seem like to always find a way, but there's skin in the game in the sense that hopefully Mini loses out.
But again, it's one of those, there's so much talent there.
Heskinen against Quinn and on the other side as well, like Kaprizov, Rantanen, it's almost every shift you're glued and watching high-end skill.
It's hard to criticize that player for not going all out.
He's buying in.
If he thought he could get it, he would have gotten it.
It's one of those things.
You look at how it curls, you're like, okay, it's not, and then all of a sudden you get caught.
I wouldn't question his work ethic or his desire at this point, to be honest.
Yeah, that and he's playing against the second, third best team in the league as well every night now.
It's not like you get the Vancouver Canucks and now you can have fun.
You're playing at the highest level against the best players, the most committed players.
You're seeing defensive specialists that are not out there to score while you're on the ice.
