Their behaviors seem to make that clear.
We'll see if they end up on, on framework Valdez, but yeah, I,
I get it, and I get why people feel that way, but it doesn't mean that those guys that they moved on from were key pieces in competing.
Maybe Diaz, but I think they could still put a good team together moving on from players who are good players, and Nemo and Alonso.
But I don't think it's the end of the world.
I think there's coming back from that still within the prime years of Soto.
and that's a big so far because yeah yeah right there's still a lot of good players out there um it's really hard to say um i i don't know like who are some of the contenders for that i think the blue jays especially if they get tucker yeah well that's yeah i mean i think
I think they're probably the team that people would point to as winning.
Yeah, because there's impact players out there still.
So it can turn.
And it's hard for me to answer that question because it's definitely much more of a media question than how front offices think about things.
Because to me, I think one of the biggest disconnects between front offices and fan bases and media coverage can be that you don't have to have a perfect roster on opening day, that you can go into things.
Because the problems that you perceive to have right now and in the offseason are
there's going to be different problems that present themselves in the season that you may be able to address in different ways.
And so I think that's a lot of what tends to happen is like, you know, we won the off season and then you have like a bunch of injuries to other things and now have no flexibility because you pushed all your chips in the middle in the off season.
And so it's, it's not, you know, obviously you want to feel good about your roster going into heading into spring training, but it's not the end all be all.
If you maintain some flexibility, there's some things you can do.
to improve, you want to have a competitive roster else.
That doesn't really matter.
Um, so I think, like I said, I think a lot of things, red Sox did.
