What did Peter Murphy and the committee under her actually suggest the government needed to do to respond to the issue of gambling?

That's just basically the government saying we'll either do this or we won't do this.

What were the reforms that were announced though in this big press conference that Anthony Albanese got up and said we are going to act on this?

It does feel like a lot of the government's focus is on young people and children at the moment.

Like I hear that and, you know, you look at the committee and that was about gambling for everyone.

Hear the government saying we want to try and protect children from gambling.

gambling ads and it's interesting that they're segmenting out different groups because you know obviously we've seen it with the social media ban as well and with the pornography like there are there is becoming a bit of a trend yeah I hadn't thought about that but that's so true there has been so much legislation that has come out of this government focused on children specifically
