We have both had family members make some brave, bold decisions recently, and they are in the third act of life (aka they are not our children, but instead our parents). Both examples of this conservative courage are on the back of houses being sold – and tie in with our regular conversation on “loving where you live”. At some stages, not loving where you live but “hanging in there” can pay great dividends. Being Stoic over Snap Happy and resisting the urge to be reckless can be just as revered. Will this ever change? Or have the rules for successful living changed? Is being stoic and persevering something that we only get better at with age, or is it something we can learn and embody at any time? All of this and more on the latest edition of 100 Not Out.
