If you’re like Damo and Marcus, you may have had parents feed you what we know to be a pretty poor diet (that doesn’t mean they didn’t love you, by the way). And, they may not have taught you financial wisdom (that also doesn’t mean they didn’t love you). They may not be great role models for career fulfilment or social engagement. But again, that doesn’t mean they didn’t love you. As we get older, we realise that our loved ones were sincere … and sincerely wrong about some or many elements of life. That is not a bad thing – in fact it is often the catalyst for greatness in life.
