Well our next guest – who we are proud to welcome back to 100 Not Out – received that very letter from Veronica and Andrea Bocelli … because at 78 years young, Don Riddington and 5 Englishmen set a new Guinness World Record for the Oldest Relay Team to Swim the English Channel … To be clear, they combined for a total age of 464 years NOT OUT, with an average age of 77.3 … And of course punching above his weight at age 78 was 100 Not Out’s version of The Don .. Cricket can have Don Bradman … 100 Not Out will claim Don Riddington as The Don, because after becoming Australia’s oldest man to swim the Channel at 68 back in 2013, he’s done it again at 78 with a bunch of mates! This is an inspiring story to kick off 2024!
