Hi guys, welcome back to Two Worlds Clyde Podcast. On today's episode we have George Mamelis from the Adelaide set. Now, just a quick note, for the first five minutes of this episode, we had an editing error and had to cut it out. I hope you guys enjoy. And yeah, okay, look, I am all for protecting Jewish people in Australia. Just your average Jewish person that's done nothing wrong. Like, you know, just like protecting your average Christian person in Australia. They've done nothing wrong. But you know where this leads to, right? Like they're gonna get it and they'll be like, you're not allowed to criticize Israel. Yeah. You're
George Mamalis 0:28
not
Sam Bamford 0:28
allowed to criticize Israel.
George Mamalis 0:30
Well, it's in the Jewish Council r I'm reading in the documents before this podcast, right? There's even claims now if you make criticism against Israeli policy, that is also considered anti Semitism potentially. So you can't even critici criticize Israel government.
Sam Bamford 0:42
So these green senators that legitimately run their platforms of criticizing foreign interests like Israel Are now going to be signing a bill that would legitimately suppress them and their followers from criticizing Israel. Potentially, yeah.
Unknown 0:56
You could see a world where
Sam Bamford 0:57
I knew this was coming. I knew I knew it was coming. I said a couple of days ago, I'm like I legitimately said a couple of days ago in a reel, I was like, do you not think there would be lobbying groups out there looking like Hang on. So we can talk to the government here to throttle algorithms of people saying free Palestine? Yeah. And like everyone on the left side of politics which always says free s free Palestine looking at that and going,
George Mamalis 1:19
Yeah. No essentially the Palestine movement is is gonna be screwed forever if this happens.
Sam Bamford 1:24
I mean off the back of that you're sort of sitting there going, Well, maybe this isn't so bad after all.
George Mamalis 1:30
Yeah, but also it's a kind of a good thing because if he can galvanize those, you know, far left um people towards you know, attacking the spill, that's actually a good thing for us as well. Because now we have you know, it would be like the voice all over again. You've got every side of politics coming against this avoid spill, which is what was a funny, unique time in human history when Australians actually said, No, we agree the voice is stupid.

How do the hosts discuss proposed laws that could limit criticism of Israel and other foreign policies?

George Mamalis 1:50
All of us said that. Says of Victoria, some parts of Victoria, but But
Sam Bamford 1:53
you know why there's a whole bunch of people that can't speak out against this bill? Because it's coming from the Australian Institute. Yeah. So the Australian Institute is connected to Punters politics. He goes on stage with Richard Dennis and talks about tax the gas stuff. Chanel Kontos was the one that brought this manosphere and she's actually helping out with the algorithm as well, saying that she wants to model a off China's algorithm.
Unknown 2:14
Yep.
Sam Bamford 2:15
And um she's paid by the Australian Institute. And then if you look into the back of all that, like The advocacy pages and stuff like that and then like who's connected to the Australian Institute, it's the Tills, it's bits of Labour, it's the Greens, like who are they funded by? Simon Holmes Court, Mike Cannon Brooks. And it's like, oh, that's why they don't call any of these people out.
Unknown 2:38
Yeah.
Sam Bamford 2:38
It's like they're all connected. The Australian Institute is one big think tank that takes in millions of dollars of donations every single year. They have eight millions of mi eight million dollars in assets and They twer they pay out twelve million dollars in income and it's like oh a lot of these social media influences must be on that tit then as well, hey?
George Mamalis 2:54
Yeah. It's one big club and we're not in it. Oh, yeah, um and and uh Oh yeah and and uh
Sam Bamford 2:58
so I released this episode I or doing it on Wednesday the ninth, so I always release it the day after. So I'm doing a real tonight, I'm just gonna call out all these people for pushing this and then I'm gonna bring out the certain lobby groups and be like, for people on the left side of politics, there's also the Jewish lobby group now that's gonna come out and be like, if you criticize Israel that's gonna be deemed as harmful content.
