私はスイス企業の日本法人に勤務していたことがあります。スイスは山と湖が多い美しい国で、九州くらいの面積に、年間2500万人の観光客が訪れます。観光業はスイスのGDPの3％を占める重要な産業です。 日本は2003年の「観光立国宣言」から20年を経て、海外からのインバウンド観光客が500万人から3000万人以上にまで増加しました。政府目標は、2030年に6000万人で、さらなる成長が見込まれます。一方で、オーバーツーリズムが問題になっており、観光先進国のスイスから学べることが多いと考えます。 例えば、事前予約の導入、外国人向けの価格設定、時期による変動料金制などが挙げられます。また、違反行為や迷惑行為については、ペナルティ（罰金）制度を徹底することも一案です。
