大阪・関西万博に行ってきました。私は1970年の大阪万博に、小学校２年生のとき連れて行ってもらいました。当時、ロケットや動く歩道といった新技術やさまざまな国の展示をみて、とても良い経験ができました。今回の万博も、特に若い方は、多くの気づきが得られると思います。 私が訪問した中で面白かった海外パビリオンは、ドイツ、フランス、ベルギーでした。ドイツは、環境先進国として、循環社会をつくる新しい技術の数々を紹介していました。フランスはそれとは正反対で、感性に訴える、デザインと光の展示でした。 小さな国は、特産品と観光の案内がメインです。過去最多の158カ国が参加していて、楽しく海外体験ができます。
