After 3 tries to run sub 3 in 2019, finishing in 3:05, 3:01 & 3:00:19. I ran a sub 3 marathon finishing in 2:56:19 at the 2020 Dorney Lake Marathon. This is the first of two episodes. This first episode covers my thoughts immediately post race, and a few days afterwards.
