Uh we don't necessarily have a famous comedian or actor on the show today, but we have uh the most important guest in terms of well, I mean I'm I'm a little biased, but uh we have the most important guest to me in the history of the podcast, someone who literally you can say without their existence, I would not be here. And uh That is probably the only time that that is an official and accurate statement. Uh, we have my father on the podcast, uh, Mr. Pete Williams. Hi, Dad. Hi Brad. Good

Yeah. Now I would ask you to turn off your cell phone for the interview, but I but I don't think that would be a problem with you, is it?
Well, I actually do own a cell phone. I've had uh I think three or four calls on it in the last six months. And the last one was from you about three months ago.
So you're so you're so you're an active you're an active on the social media. You tweet, you Instagram, you do all these things, right? Uh no.
No I'm sort of a I'm sorta down on technology 'cause I think it's uh it's hurting our lives. That's what I think. Uh a lot of it is, all that kinda stuff is kids oughta be paying more attention to each other and not to their machines. That's what I feel like.
Do you think that we're now uh kids now growing up are not as sho uh socially adjusted because they don't they they're just on texting all day and the phones and
Well, there's good news and there's bad news about that stuff. Um uh I I think there's less bullying, but you can bully on social media also. Yeah. Cyberbullying. Cyberbullying and that kind of a thing. But but uh kids don't beat each other up as much now. They're too busy looking at their phones. They might get run over by cars 'cause they don't bother to look up Uh, because I mean I I saw four kids walking down uh uh the street uh a couple of months ago and all four of 'em were looking down at their machines. Yeah and I thought, My gosh, they're gonna walk right out in the intersection and they almost did. Someone one of 'em was smart enough to stop everybody.
Wow. Uh now do you think I mean, obviously uh the the time that you raised me was different than this in term in in terms of the technology. Do you think right now you'd be able to adjust to raise a kid in uh these kinds of Tech technological times?
Well, to a certain degree I'm still raising kids and yes. I think
we're good. I think we at age you know, I'm off on my own. I'm I'm doing okay with my life. Oh well, you're at least you're off the family payroll. This is true. Uh now one of the reasons why I wanted to talk to you, Dad, not only 'cause uh I enjoy talking with you at all times, uh, but I'm doing a large part of my act now about kind of how you raised me and uh how
