This week resident host Shereen catches up with Occupational Therapist, podcaster and entrepreneur Jenny Okolo. As an OT, Jenny crosses paths with many patients who have been diagnosed with some form of neurodivergence. What is most interesting is the number of people who she works with who haven't had any formal diagnosis but may be on a neurodivergent scale. Delving into Jenny's experiences, she explains exactly why neurodivergent patients should be treated with empathy and shares advice on what to do if you feel you don't have the right clinician for you. For clinicians out there, she has some advice for you too.
