Ben Grannis is a 26-year-old cyclist from Ridgefield, Connecticut, who embarked on a significant bike ride across America to raise awareness about distracted driving. A 2017 graduate of Kenyon College, Grannis was inspired by his father’s 1977 cross-country bike trip and his own experiences working as a trip leader for Overland Summers, an organization that runs teen adventure trips.
