Episode 368 - The AFTN Soccer Show (Giant Steps featuring David Norman Jr, Bob Young, and Whitecaps of the Decade)

25 Nov 2019

Description

The year is fast coming to a close and so is the decade. So far it's all players on their way out at the Whitecaps, but could that change in the coming week as the MLS end of season draft mechanisms get into full swing? We take a look at some of the players available and the Whitecaps news of the week, plus we hear from former 'Cap David Norman Jr about his departure from Vancouver and the new challenge awaiting him in Miami. But it's also the time of year for reflection and we kick off a new section to pick our Whitecaps of the decade, starting with selecting the manager and goalkeeper for the team. There's also some Canadian Premier League chat as we look at the award nominees for this week's trophy presentations and hear from Forge FC owner Bob Young. Plus does Derek Cornelius fancy a chocolate digestive? And there's a song about George Best in this week's Wavelength, Goldie Lookin' Chain finish up their residency as our artists of the month for November, and there's BC Soccerweb headlines.
