Aging Fiercely Podcast
If You Insist on Aging, You May as Well Do It as Fiercely as Possible
08 Sep 2024
Here’s a banger for you: we don’t have to believe the hype that getting older means losing strength, power, or stamina. 👊Life over 40 doesn’t mean we have to sit on the sidelines of life and watch Junior Jr. run his little tushy off on the soccer field while we wonder if the sunlight is catching any chin hairs in just the right light. And it sure as heck-fire doesn’t mean we have to hang the libido up to dry!Somewhere along the way, someone started a nasty little rumor that turning 40+ meant signing up for aches, pains, and a permanent spot on the sidelines. Well, guess what? They’re wrong. Dead wrong. ☠️I’ve recently renamed my podcast to Aging Fiercely and here’s why: Aging fiercely is all about choosing to live boldly while shaking up the narrative that aging = slowing down. Life doesn’t stop after 40—far from it. We get to flip that script, toss out the scale obsession, and trade in the “beach-ready body” for a body that can climb mountains and feel unstoppable while doing it.The truth is, fitness after 40 is the key to living a richer, more adventurous life. It’s not about checking off workouts like some chore—it’s about fueling the fun and keeping that fire in your soul burning bright. It’s also about churning up the mindset. We’ve GOT to tighten that ship up because the societal view on aging… sucks! Good thing is, we no longer have to buy into it. We can change the narrative—collectively and individually—by changing our thoughts. This is the fun part and a lot of what I’ll be talking about on the podcast! (Along with interviews from babes who are putting a new twist on how they work out and why!)This is an opportunity for us all to rewrite the script on how we want to age! So, if you’re ready to stop letting age define you and start aging fiercely, subscribe to my podcast on Apple, Spotify, or Substack. Because this journey? It’s only just getting started.Till next week, stay well my fierce friend! 🔥am ❤️P.S. Click on the trailer above to learn more about this new adventure we’re embarking on!
