Katie and well-known fashion designer Peter Som chat about his leap from the fashion business to the food and his new cookbook, Family Style.Peter grew up in a food-obsessed family in the San Francisco Bay area. He learned to cook from his mother and grandmother, both of whom inspired many of the recipes in his new book.After attending Parsons to study fashion, Peter worked for well-known names like Bill Blass and Michael Kors, before starting his own line at the age of 29.
