And if you look into this trial and some of the reporting, you'll see that the family had to leave this courthouse on multiple occasions throughout the trial because of just the heinous nature of so much of what was being spoken about by the prosecution and the defense, the autopsy photos that were included to show the jury exactly what Austin Metcalf looked like in death, exactly what his injuries looked like that were caused by Carmelo Anthony when he fatally stabbed him and murdered him.
And then you have to remove yourself from the court to see all of these people gathering outside to defend your kid's murder just because he's Black. We have to stop with this narrative that Black people are the victims no matter what, even when it is abundantly clear that they are the perpetrators.

And to see so many people, and of course, Black people and Blacktivists defending these actions is absolutely insane. We need to get it together. We need to stop tolerating this behavior. We need to stop acting like this is normal.
But yet case after case after case, this group of people pops up to defend the actions of murderers and criminals. All I can say is this is the exact verdict that I expected. I'm so glad the jury came back and came back quickly with this verdict. We'll see what Carmelo Anthony's sentence looks like. I do wonder if there's going to be riots in the streets of the city following this.
There's most certainly going to be protests and picket signs and people screaming their heads off about justice for Carmelo Anthony. And, you know, Typically, we see more crime happen on the other end of, what, criminals being convicted for crimes that they committed. We live in clown world right now. That's the update, guys.
The last thing I'll say, and I said it before in this video, if you wanted justice for Carmelo Anthony, this is what justice for Carmelo Anthony looks like. It looks like justice for Austin Metcalf, which will never be enough because he's no longer alive and his family is going to have to deal with this for the rest of their lives.
And on top of that, they have to deal with the circus surrounding this case that would have never been created had we not made this about race and tried to turn this black kid into a victim after he murdered a young white kid.
