Diving into the world of portrait photography with Olga and Andy

This week we have our special creative episode - our guests are Olga, Andy and their small little daughter Eva, a family of photographers working with a variety of technologies - starting from analog photography, going to digital and now adopting some AI tech to speed up the editing process. Olga is a self taught photographer, she started shooting people in the streets and at home in 2014. Andy has got PhD in Optics in 2009 - hence he is educated in all the math and magic of light. With that knowledge, he started photography, and in 2010-2011 shot medium format film portraits, later switching to portrait, headshot, nude, documentary, model test and lifestyle photography - almost anything human related. They opened Pure Light photography studio a couple of years ago. As well, recently they’ve started teaching photography at their studio, explaining all the interesting aspects of light, work with people and studio shoots.In this episode, we discuss Andy's and Olga’s background, their projects, their views towards old and new technologies, especially AI and how it could affect photography, we even discussed the 6th finger, and we talked about their hopes and future predictions for creative industries and photography.Each week we are releasing an episode in the field of either Metaverse/Gaming, Web3/Crypto/Blockchain, AI or XR.
