Amherst County High School presents “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” This story follows Ariel as she pursues her dream to become part of the human world despite her father’s warning about it’s many dangers. “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” is fun for all ages and is a story of adventure, love, and friendship. The musical will take place April 11th, 12th, and 13th at 7pm. There will also be a Sunday matinee on April 14th at 2pm. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online at www.amherstmusical.com or one hour before the show each day. In this podcast, Dr. Rob Arnold, Superintendent of Amherst County Public Schools, sits down with Mrs. Patricia Emmert, the Director of Amherst Theatre, and the cast of the program’s latest musical, The Little Mermaid. Cast members share their personal stories as actors, and their impressions of The Little Mermaid. After hearing from this talented group of students, you will not want to miss the performance.
