Why is it hard for the Soul to let go of the Physical Reality?

 There are many reasons as to why a soul may not want to let go of the physical body. Many fear death and are scared to let go, because we do not know what might happen. Others may have unresolved issues that they feel like they need to put right before their passing. Others such as pets, are worried about us and think that we still need their help and guidance.
