Episode 131 - Gita - Chapter 13 - That Which Needs to Be Known

E131 - We begin to understand consciousness, that which needs to be known, by discussing why this understanding is hard to come by. We come to know things through our sense organs but our consciousness does not engage our senses. So it is difficult for us not to identify with our bodies. We tend to think as if we are our bodies instead of understanding we are the seer, the knower, and the witness of our bodies. It is as we believe we are our car instead of knowing we are the driver, not the machine.
