This is part one of a two-episode interview.In part one, Seymour discusses his early years growing up in a depression-era New York to immigrant parents. We hear about Seymour's father and his involvement in WWI, along with Seymour's own participation in WWII, and how these would both contribute to his interest in studying chemical systems in the brain.
