Day 7 - more surprises from the track that's surrounded in sound
07 Aug 2024
Euan Crumley and Jason Henderson return to dissect another unpredictable night in Paris. First up they discuss the shock result in the men's 1500m which saw Josh Kerr take silver behind the USA's Cole Hocker. They look at what's next for the great rivals Kerr and Ingebrigtsen. They mull over how the atmosphere in the noise in the stadium is impacting the runners and their performances. The women's 200m final went off with much less drama with Gabby Thomas taking gold. The men's long jump was won by Miltiadis Tentoglou. Euan and Jason discuss proposed changes to the sport that aren't sitting well with the athletes. They look forward to the men's 400m final featuring GB's Matthew Hudson-Smith. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
