Ian Thomas grew up in the northeastern United States where ATVs were essential tools for hunting and property maintenance.As a youth, Ian and his cousins would sneak away to ride the 4x4 utility quads, joyously navigating them through mud repeatedly.College and a serendipitous connection through football introduced Ian to sport ATVs. A teammate's father owned sport quads, and discovering a magazine featuring a 400EX solidified his interest.After college, Ian joined the military and was stationed in the South, where he encountered the LTR 450. This experience deepened his passion for ATVs, making it a lifelong pursuit.Ian's family later moved to the West, where the desert offered a new playground for racing.
