Chapter 1: What led to the return of the Aunty Donna podcast?
This is a Grouse House podcast. Hello, welcome to the Aunty Donna podcast. I am sorry. Actually, this music doesn't quite work anymore. Sorry, everyone. Hello. Do not adjust your television sets. It's me, Zachary Wayne, with a little bit of Jack Duane in me still. Gotta shake that. I'm Zach Ruane. I'm joined by Broden Kelly.
Hi, Zach. How are you?
And Mark Bonanno. What's up? Obviously, as you know, we did retire permanently from the Aunty Donna podcast a few months ago, weeks ago, depending on who you're talking about. But last week... This is hard for me to talk about because they were all friends of ours.
Take your time.
Take your time. Last week, the new hosts of the Aunty Donna podcast, Jack Dwayne, Grand Designs Batman, and, of course, Angelina, passed away on air. That was a very shocking turn of events for all of us.
And if you experienced any, if it was traumatizing for you listening, of course, we can't predict these things, but sincerest apologies to you. And if you had young people in the car listening, kids in the car going to school who heard three people pass away, I mean, of natural causes.
It's tough. She was my brother's great-grandma, I think.
Kelly Holliday?
Right.

Chapter 2: How did the hosts react to the unexpected events during the podcast?
Scott Bonanno. So he's torn up about it.
It was shocking. I mean, obviously it's... So sudden. Sudden. It sent shockwaves through the entire Grouse House, Haven't You Done Well, Aunty Donna family. We were still a part of the podcast, but behind the scenes, we're still... I was more of a casual listener.
Yeah. I caught two or three eps and just checked in on it.
But I mean, we were all part of the board for Haven't You Done Well. We were focusing more on the business, but obviously with such a shocking turn of events, we don't know what to do with the podcast yet. We are looking for new hosts. In the interim, we have agreed to step in on a short-term basis to host the podcast, keep it afloat until we find those new hosts.
And the other days of the week will be other great comedians. So Ronnie's going to keep doing Wednesdays.
Ronnie's doing Wednesdays. You know, we're going to keep that kind of going. Oh, not Dangerfield.
No, he passed away as well. He did pass away.
It can happen so quickly. And I think that's the lesson that I learned from watching and listening just as a casual viewer is that death can happen so suddenly.
Ronnie Dangerfield died 22 years ago.

Chapter 3: What are the plans for finding new hosts for the podcast?
You close the goddamn deal. You close it, you hear me? Zach's closing a deal. He's become a lot more business focused over the last... Listen to me. If you don't close this deal, I'll eat you for supper.
Wow. Seems like he's really closing that deal. Eating a lot of people for supper.
Closing those deals. You've got to eat people for supper.
But we're still the cool young guys, you know, from Frogman and stuff like that. But that's why I've got this. And the man beasts. And the man beasts.
Chapter 4: How are the hosts adapting to the changes in the podcast format?
And Italian men eating his own. Cunato. Cunato shit or whatever. Yeah. Sort of thing. All right. What should the prize be for who? I want you to keep tabbed, Tom. So what's happening? I'm so sorry. You'll have to catch me up. It's a quiz question. Yep.
Quiz questionnaire. Have you indulged in the Beast Games? I must implore you to watch on the Beast Games. I know he's a very savvy businessman. Yes. And the prize that he offers is $5 million. So maybe something along those lines. Oh, sure.
I know James. Just to raise the stakes. I know James and I think the way he's utilised those platforms and I think he's an amazing businessman. Yeah. He's cash poor. He is cash poor. Did you know this? He's not particularly liquid. He's cash poor. So what are you proposing?
I'm going to read you some quiz questions.
Before you do, I do think Mark's decided to put a bit of a wager on it. I think that's quite a fun idea. What are you proposing, Mark?
I'm thinking that the winner has to be buried alive. And...
wins a million to five million dollars well i think i'd be i'd be happy to put up a million dollars i'd put up a million dollars so the winner of this competition has to pay the other a million dollars the loser is buried alive and and i say let's make this a little more interesting yes perhaps the winner is also buried alive very good
We're just going to throw to an ad now from our sponsors here, a wonderful place to travel with the family, Dubai. What? And we're back. Now, boys, here's some questions about the Aunty Donna world from our fan base on the Patreon. First one is, which two major historical figures did Zach interview in podcast episode 141? And who's keeping tabs of the scores? Tom.
I want to make sure there's no cheating. And maybe buzz in with your name. No Tom foolery, even though Tom is the one who's keeping score.

Chapter 5: What quiz game do the hosts engage in during this episode?
I think he would have appreciated that.
And thank you. I'm sure you're listening, Don.
Don.
In Auntie Donna's first D&D game, which 2000s, so it's Dungeons and Dragons, which 2000s TV star did Sam base his character on?
Television star.
Yeah.
I try to watch television and I try to watch internet content. You know, I say, you know, a lot of people think you must just watch operas now. But no, I do try to watch internet television.
Mel Blanc? No.
No? A television star, James Van Der Beek.

Chapter 6: What are some memorable moments from past episodes of Aunty Donna?
No. Here's a good question. Oh, yes, here's a good question. When you boys did your album tour stop in Hobart, Zach came on stage singing about what he did that day in Hobart. What did Zach do?
I think I went to Mona.
And what did you get there?
A sausage roll.
No. You get some sort of candy in the shape of a labia? No, you got a boner at Mona.
That's why you need to keep notes. I could have put that in the podcast. That was one show I said boner at Mona. That's fantastic. Boner at Mona. Clearly resonated. That's years later. I don't mind a little bit of dominoes from time to time. No, it's lovely. I think it's a bit of fun.
But I don't get dominoes when I'm in the mood for pizza. No. I get dominoes when I'm in the mood for dominoes and when I'm depressed.
The Year 12 Penguin's Mum got a lot of help from what organisation to make ends meet?
What's this now?

Chapter 7: How do the hosts reflect on their growth and experiences since the podcast began?
I got five and I only joined halfway through too. Mark got four and Zach got three.
And he held his tongue at times. Listen, you should talk to Stephanie. She'll arrange the transfer. You deserve it.
Thank you.
Have some fun with it.
I'm going to order Domino's to celebrate.
And enjoy that night with your wife, Dom.
