Flathead are a popular east coast lure fishing target during the warmer months. But while the small to medium fish are an easy option, consistently catching the larger fish is a real challenge. In this episode of Australian Lure Fishing Steve "Starlo" Starling walks us through what he's learned about catching jumbo flathead in the coastal lakes and estuaries of Australia's east coast. Starlo spills the beans on where, when and how to find fish, his tackle and of course the lures and techniques he uses to pun big lizards.
