Authors' Alcove: The Writing Corner

Interviewing Historical Fiction Author Susan Furber (Chatting about Publishing and Research)

05 Mar 2024

Description

I had so much fun interviewing historical fiction author Susan Furber.   Susan Furber is an editor, author, and self-publishing expert. Historical fiction author and editor Susan Furber published her debut novel Essense of an Hour in 2021 and its sequel, We Were Very Merry, in May 2023. While discussing historical fiction, we chatted about the importance of setting, how to research a historical piece, and her experience publishing her book. She was able to give a unique perspective on the writing and publishing process due to her experience as an editor, as well as her work with others as a self-publishing expert, and having traditionally published her own books.  BAs a self-publishing expert she helps people published through KDP and Ingram Sparks.  You can find her on her website: http://susanfurberbooks.com You can read her book Essence of an Hour at this affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3RQqZiR And its sequel, We Were Very Merry, is here: https://amzn.to/478jFDv If you are interested in being a guest on my episode, you may fill out the form on my website: http://authorsalcove.com/be-a-guest You can also follow me on:   Facebook: http://facebook.com/authorsalcove Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/authorsalcovepodcast/ Linked In: https://www.linkedin.com/in/agnes-wolfe-20bb47288/ Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2EQYPBl1LtZh08qCdIRHTy?si=aa56d7a9565a49fa YouTube:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCWVCbL470bDCgeg23kziYAg (possible affiliate links above)
