Carlos Rivera is the author of The Local Truth, the first book in the Horror series White. He describes himself as a Hispanic horror writer, a member of the queer community, and an introverted kid who grew up in Costa Rica during the 80s and 90s. He was one of my favorite authors to talk to; he was very knowledgeable about the craft and insightful about the horror genre.
