Traffic light data provided by TTS is fed to the team so they can optimize their cohort. The fleet of vehicles has a central intelligence, to direct this cohort, when to accelerate or decelerate enabling it to catch a growing wave of green lights.In a world of connected vehicles, we know the identity of the vehicle, we know type of vehicle, how far it is from the stop line and it's a speed. We could customize this for that vehicle, for the whole cohort, as we have proven in this project. In this episode Jingtao sits down with Stephan Tarnutzer to discuss this and the role TTS played in a recent Automotive IQ Connected Vehicles USA DOE project we collaborated on. Jingtao Ma, CTO Traffic Technology Services: Jingtao, also co-founder of Traffic Technology Services, has over 15 years of progressive experience in the fields of real-time traffic data fusion and services, multi-resolution transportation system modeling, and traffic engineering. He has research and development, software development and transportation consulting experiences in China and North America, having authored over 60 publications.
