Creating hardware that is flexibly responsive to alternative control strategies is key. Tula Technology improves efficiency in vehicles through software development. Tula has designed the Dynamic Motor Drive (DMD) which removes reliance on REE and gives you more efficiency at a lower cost. DMD is a software solution that improves Externally Excited Synchronous Motors (EESMs) and other Rare Earth (RE)-free motors. DMD software completes existing systems, making EESMs as efficient at low speeds as they are at high speeds. Now you can get efficiency without RE. DMD also helps Industry experience a significant boost in efficiency, saving energy and accelerating the transition to a future without rare earth materials. John has been at Tula since 2016, as VP of Engineering, also responsible for Tula’s Dynamic Motor Drive (DMD) Business.
