39: How SIFMA Foundation President, Melanie Mortimer, is teaching 12 million girls about investing and personal finance

My guest today is Melanie Mortimer the President of the SIFMA Foundation. SIFMA is the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, and the SIFMA Foundation is the nation’s leader in youth investor and financial education that ensures all young people, regardless of background, have access to transformative knowledge and tools to prepare for their financial futures. Melanie has a Master’s in International Management and an MBA from Aoyama Gakuin University in Tokyo, and her BA in English from Agnes Scott College in Georgia.  In this episode Melanie talks about the ways the SIFMA Foundation's programs are impacting both students and teachers, and her own advice for people raising girls.
