25 Oct 2025

Transcription

Chapter 1: What are the implications of a weaponized justice system?

0.031 - 52.009 Unknown

And about a justice system which has been weaponized. A justice system which has been used as a tool of revenge. This justice system which has been used as a tool of revenge. And a weapon. against those individuals who simply did their job and who stood up for the rule of law. And a justice system which unfortunately is nothing being used as a vehicle of retribution. But my faith is strong.

0

54.824 - 78.578 Unknown

And my faith is, I have this belief in the justice system, in the rule of law, and I have a belief in America and all of its individuals who have stood with me, not only in New York, but all across this nation. New York Attorney General, Letitia James is one of the bravest people that I know. She is an honorable person of great integrity. That's how she served.

0

79.28 - 100.768 Unknown

And we've served together now since 2019 when we were both elected in 2018. And, you know, she's been a leader amongst attorneys general all across the nation. And that includes in a bipartisan fashion on many different issues like the opioid epidemic and the settlements that we procured billions of dollars across the United States.

0

Chapter 2: Why is Letitia James considered a brave figure in the justice system?

100.868 - 126.98 Unknown

But, you know, if he's trying to make just change into a martyr. I think that's exactly what he's doing, because everybody knows that Tish James is a person who believes very much in the strength of our laws and in making sure that she is law-abiding, as is everyone. So I think these charges are specious, and they will not hold up in a court of law.

0

127 - 133.466 Steve Bannon

He's going to get a third term, so Trump 28. Trump is going to be president at 28, and people just ought to get accommodated with that.

0

133.486 - 135.068 Unknown

So what about the 22nd Amendment?

0

136.145 - 155.913 Steve Bannon

There's many different alternatives. At the appropriate time, we'll lay out what the plan is. But there's a plan, and President Trump will be the president in 28. We had longer odds in 16 and longer odds in 24 than we got in 28. And President Trump will be the president of the United States, and the country needs him to be president of the United States. We have to finish what we started.

0

156.494 - 165.145 Steve Bannon

And the way we finish it, do Trump... Trump is a vehicle... I know this will drive you guys crazy, but... He's a vehicle of divine providence. He's an instrument.

Chapter 3: How does the 22nd Amendment affect Trump's potential third term?

165.165 - 179.379 Steve Bannon

He's very imperfect. He's not churchy, not particularly religious, but he's an instrument of divine will. And you could tell this of how he's pulled this off. We need him for at least one more term, right? And he'll get that in 28.

0

179.399 - 197.579 Unknown

You're not driving me crazy. I'm trying to understand the coherence of the things you've just told me in the last few minutes. On the one hand, you've said the Constitution is fit for purpose. Secondly, you've said that President Trump needs another term, even though the 22nd Amendment makes pretty clear that he cannot have another term. Why does it make that clear?

0

198.04 - 199.442 Unknown

Because he's on his second term already.

0

200.624 - 206.492 Steve Bannon

At some point in time, we will make sure we go through Zannie and define all those terms.

0

207.254 - 215.907 Unknown

But even if you find a way to undermine the... You will be undermining the spirit of that amendment, even if you find some way around it.

216.227 - 228.241 Steve Bannon

And to those people who can... Can the American people... If the American people, with the mechanisms we have, put Trump back in office, are the American people tearing up the Constitution?

Chapter 4: What are the speculations surrounding Trump's 2028 presidential run?

228.281 - 233.127 Steve Bannon

Would that be tearing up the Constitution? Would the American people be going against the spirit of the Constitution, ma'am?

0

233.688 - 242.299 Unknown

I think yes, actually, because I think what you will end up with is a populist justification for a quasi-dictatorship.

0

242.319 - 252.23 Steve Bannon

That's not true at all. We need to finish what we started. And President Trump is the instrument, a providential instrument to finish that, to finish this job.

0

253.952 - 290.472 Unknown

I've heard from just about every jurisdiction in this nation who have said, stand up and be tall and never, ever cow down or back down or break or bend. So there's no fear today. No fear. No fear. No fear. No fear. Because I believe that justice will rain down like water and righteousness like a mighty stream.

0

294.696 - 309.448 Unknown

And I'm here to say that my work and my job and all that I do all throughout my public career, I've stood up for the rights of New Yorkers and Americans, and I will not be deterred.

Chapter 5: How does Jack Smith's testimony impact public perception?

309.728 - 314.515 Unknown

Former White House chief strategist speaking with the editor-in-chief and deputy editor of The Economist.

0

314.976 - 333.703 Unknown

Though Bannon has not worked in the White House since President Trump's first term and did not work on President Trump's 2024 campaign, he did recently tell ABC's Jonathan Karl for his upcoming book that he had a way of getting messages to Trump's campaign and to Trump himself while he was in prison for contempt of Congress.

0

333.683 - 354.255 Unknown

That included direct messages to Boris Epstein, a self-described counselor to President Trump. Carl also reports that Trump still turns to Bannon for guidance. Carl, in his forthcoming book, reports that President Trump called Bannon during a national security meeting back in February ahead of President Zelensky's first trip to Washington. probably remember that one.

0

354.335 - 377.7 Unknown

Carl also reports that Trump had Bannon tell his national security team why he didn't trust the Ukrainian leader and why he was skeptical of any ideals or deals. MSNBC reached out to the White House for comment on Bannon's 2028 claims. We asked when Bannon might have last spoken to President Trump and whether there are plans for the president to seek a third term.

0

378.181 - 380.363 Unknown

We have not yet heard back at this hour.

380.343 - 406.047 Unknown

22nd amendment of the constitution is clear no person shall be elected to the office of the president more than twice and no person who has held the office of president or acted as president for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected president shall be elected to the office of the president more than once but a tennessee republican proposed an amendment to the 22nd amendment

406.027 - 424.879 Unknown

to clear the way for Trump's third term. Just days after his second inauguration, amending the Constitution requires a two-thirds vote of Congress or two-thirds of the states agreeing to call a constitutional convention to propose changes. Either of those require ratification from three-quarters of the states.

424.859 - 432.467 Unknown

In March, President Trump addressed the question of running again, telling NBC's Kristen Welker he was not joking about a third term.

Chapter 6: What evidence is there of political bias in legal investigations?

432.928 - 451.407 Unknown

Trump said there were plans in the making, but he refused to say exactly what they were. How dangerous is it that you have these very, very serious comments coming from the president himself being fed to his supporters who we saw he has tremendous influence over if January 6th was any indication of that?

0

452.635 - 484.421 Steve Bannon

I think it's reflective of a kind of a bottomless ambition to grab as much power as possible. And I think that they will keep pushing and testing the limits of what he can hold on to. And in this instance, I think that they're probably actively testing what's possible. This is the primal scream of a dying regime. Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.

0

485.762 - 497.154 Steve Bannon

I got a free shot on all these networks lying about the people. The people have had a belly full of it. I know you don't like hearing that. I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.

0

497.334 - 507.364 Unknown

And where do people like that go to share the big lie? Mega media. I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.

0

Chapter 7: How is Antifa influencing the political landscape in Maine?

507.344 - 517.668 Steve Bannon

Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose? If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.

0

517.688 - 521.337 Stephen K. Bannon

War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Band.

0

527.78 - 547.041 Steve Bannon

Friday, 24 October, the year of our 2025 president leaves tonight for probably one of the toughest trips he's ever taken to Asia, East Asia. We'll meet with she negotiating. We're getting to all that. So much going on and we're going to jam it all in. To the first hour here. Let's go. We've got Julie Kelly, the great Julie Kelly joins us.

0

547.842 - 569.781 Steve Bannon

Julie, in the deconstruction of the administrative state going after the deep state, President Trump had a meeting yesterday with, you know, head Pam Bondi and Stephen Miller and Kash Patel and all the team around there. And the left completely melted down. Grassley has now put out this memo. That looks like from Ray that Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco, knew about Arctic Frost.

0

Chapter 8: What are the challenges facing Maine's political identity?

570.222 - 594.338 Steve Bannon

You've got Letitia James as a rain today. And hey, sister, keep preaching. Letitia James, they're going to have a superseding indictment, throw a lot more charges on her. She's going to prison for a long, long, long time. Julie Kelly, you've been all over this on your sub stack and other commentary. Where do we stand with this war? We're against the deep state and the administrative state, ma'am.

0

595.313 - 614.959 Julie Kelly

I mean, I think that the DOJ and the president are making slow, steady progress. And we see this with the indictments of James Comey and now New York Attorney General Letitia James. There's an interesting side story to Letitia James's rental property in Virginia, as you know.

0

615.277 - 647.624 Julie Kelly

Her grandniece, Nikia Thompson, appears to be a repeat criminal offender and most recently was arrested on October 9th, the day that the DOJ announced the grand jury indictment into her. Letitia James, threatening an assistant school principal where one of her children attended school, making threats to this principal, so much so that they called police. An arrest warrant was issued for her.

0

648.425 - 672.793 Julie Kelly

And this was finally made public yesterday in the New York Post. So Letitia James and her crime family, very interesting side note there. But look, I do want to give a shout out to acting U.S. Attorney Lindsay Halligan, who took over the very corrupted Eastern District of Virginia, U.S. Attorney's Office, where these indictments are being handed up.

0

673.474 - 703.185 Julie Kelly

And she is not backing down at all, despite what appears to be some internal sniping, but also a coordinated media attack against her, where we have at the center, Ken Delanian, MSNBC, affectionately known as Fusion Ken, trying to dirty up her name and undermine the work that she is doing. So I think we're going to see more out of that Eastern District of Virginia.

703.605 - 714.657 Julie Kelly

To your point, probably more indictments, superseding indictments against Letitia James, possibly James Comey. And then, of course, we are awaiting a potential indictment of California Senator Adam Schiff as well.

716.898 - 739.682 Steve Bannon

Let's go to that last one. By the way, here there are – Comey was just to get into the wire with the statute of limitations. There's much more Comey coming with the Brennan and all that, the Russia hoax situation, crossfire hurricane. Talk to me about shift because I hear there's all kind of – Ken Delaney is on it. People should know Ken Delaney at NBC News.

740.067 - 759.89 Steve Bannon

is the comms director for the deep state people. I mean, it's unbelievable. They just give it to him. It's the administrative state in the deep state. He's the comms director. Talk to me about Schiff because they're blowing back on us on Schiff saying the grand jury is not going to die. A couple of the prosecutors have resigned. Your thoughts about that, ma'am?

760.971 - 781.799 Julie Kelly

I mean, we shall see. I really, again... I think that there is a strong effort by Lindsay Halligan, some of her new team. Of course, you had Eric Siebert, who was the U.S. attorney in that office, who was forced to resign. The president forced him to resign after his internal resistance to the Comey indictment.
