Chapter 1: What is the evolution of Great Britain's WBC team?
Yeah, there should be some passion. This doesn't have to be boring.
Welcome to Baseball Isn't Boring. Here's your host, Rob Radford. There's nobody I'd rather talk to than Bradley right now. Congratulations, first of all.
Thank you. Appreciate it.
I only hear good things.
Yeah. Probably got paid to say that one. No, no, no.
So talk to me a little bit about what this has been like getting ready for this adventure, I guess. And also like your background with the history of the Great Britain, like WBC or the international program.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Getting ready for it has been challenging, but very exciting. A lot of hurdles, a lot of obstacles, but also considering my history, as you mentioned, being born in the UK, played for the program for three decades. My dad played for them, so it was... It's been definitely a journey, so it's kind of cool to see the full circle happen.

Chapter 2: How has Bradley Marcelino prepared for the WBC tournament?
Like you had talked about, you've been involved, your dad was involved in the program, and even from the last time that they were in the WBC, how far has the program come?
Yeah, man, I mean, it's funny because the previous tournament, the jersey was the thing, right? Yeah, yeah. I think, I forget what letter it came off, but the font and the print was kind of funny. But previously, I mean, in 99, I remember... We had a tape on our numbers on the back of our t-shirts and our jerseys and that type of stuff.
So it's evolved a lot just based on where it's come from back then to almost three, four decades later.
The jerseys are a perfect microcosm of this, right? Yeah. You got good jerseys this year, right? That's right.
Yeah. So yeah, it's a little bit... It's kind of surreal when you think about the whole process and how it's all definitely come full circle for sure. Yeah, it's a lot different.
Who were you most excited about when you heard who are committing, major leaguers who are committing to you, or professional guys who are committing to you?
Yeah, I mean, we're still going through the process of the eligibility and going through all that, but there's obviously interesting names out there, right? Jazz is one of them. Roldan Chapman is one of them. But yeah, I mean, there's a lot of really good players that I'm excited. You know, maybe they're about to break through to the big leagues, so they're good prospects.
So it's cool to get them on that stage. It happened last time a little bit, too. Some unknown players got to showcase themselves on a bigger stage. No one really knew Harry then, and they kind of did that thing over there. So I think both of those guys, you know, are probably, Harry's another interesting one, obviously. So, yeah.
The last thing is, so where does it stand with Jazz and Eraldis?

Chapter 3: What challenges has Great Britain faced in international baseball?
But we know for sure that just he is interested. He wants to play.
Yes.
Yeah, so now it's just a matter of, you know, there's complications, obviously, with some of the spring training, right, them getting there, 40-man roster, the timing of everything. So there's just a few of those hurdles. But for sure he wants to play. It's just a matter of the timing of everything now.
I appreciate the time.
Thank you.
