Did you have any clue that this was in the works at the time or did it kind of materialize after that?
AAV-wise, this is the biggest number Alex has given.
Just what does that mean to you as far as how he values you?

But knowing that you're going to be with that group and some of these young pitchers to help them continue to develop.
How comforting is it to have a deal just knowing we don't know how things are going to look next year?

How nice is it to know that at 37 years old, you know, you still have the ability to draw these kind of contracts?
