Travel to Almunecar on the Costa Tropical in Spain in episode 28. Almunecar in Andalusia, has so much to see and do for such a small, lesser-known city on Spain’s southern coast. We describe where the most stunning sunset we have seen in Spain was. You will hear all about the different beaches and the promenade which goes all along the coastline. We share the discoveries that we were delighted to make including the Salting Factory, the Caves of the Seven Palaces, San Miguel Castle and the Botanic Gardens. The old town of Almunecar isn’t a large one, and we tell you all about the pedestrian-free cobblestone streets that we explored. You will find out why some of the locals don’t like the 5m x 3m octopus roundabout in the main part of town. Once again you will hear the best places to eat and our favourite places to have wine (or mojito in this case).
