Some of Trump's statements seem like he's demanding things that are going to be absolute non-starters for Iran. He may also not be aware that he doesn't have the cards to use his term. Trump is accustomed to dealing with countries that want to deal with the U.S. Iran doesn't care. It's going to be a new dynamic for him, and he very well may drop the ball, despite the apparent desperation he has to put this toothpaste back in the tube.
At the same time, Iran has advanced its interests pretty well during the war. They've cemented their place. They may be willing to take the win and give Trump an out, but I'm not sure. The U.S. hit the families of the people they're negotiating with. They may not be forgiving. Honestly, it's a toss-up at this point. Once the politicians talk to the press after they meet, we'll have a better read on it. Anyway, it's just a thought. Y'all have a good day.
