Today I have some special guests! First, my hubby is in the house! So excited to have him by my side as we interview a great couple Katie and Michael Bommarito. They will be sharing their story of brokenness to breakthrough. Katie and Michael Bommarito met and married in seminary with dreams of pastoring a church together and spending time on the mission field. But after more than a decade of serving in full time ministry, those dreams shattered with the public discovery of Michael’s pornography use. Having secretly struggled with a porn and sex addiction for 25 years, the revelation came as a shock to everyone around him. A long series of counselors and accountability groups followed, but Michael continued lying to himself and others about the depths of his growing addiction. For 18 years they lived trapped in a cycle of lying, getting caught, and promising this time it would be different. But finally, God broke through, and Michael was able to admit the depths of his addiction. Surrounded by a network of support, Katie and Michael faced the pain of his betrayal, worked hard at restoration, and found hope and love beyond it all.   Today they have been married for almost 34 years.
