I think we all struggle with negative self-talk from time to time. Sometimes we don't realize all the affects these thoughts have on us. They can cause us stress, anxiety, depression, frustration, irritation, and even physical aches and pains if we don't keep them under control. Today I am sharing the types of negative self-thinking according to Dr. Daniel G. Amens book Change Your Brain, Change Your life. I am also including 4 steps I use to help me stop negative self-talk and actually change it into positive self-talk. We all deserve to live our best life possible and negative self-talk can prevent us from setting, working towards and creating the life we dream of.
