If you're a woman who makes good money in your career or business, but you're not building wealth like you want to, then you're in the right place. In this podcast, you'll learn how to stop overspending, break free from the cycle of debt, save lots of cash and become the wealthy woman you were born to be. Let's dive in. Well, hello, everyone. Welcome back to the podcast. OK, before we dive in today, I want to let you know about something I'm hosting next month that ties directly into the series that we're in right now. For those of you who do not know, we're in a spending pattern series. And today we're talking about two patterns that I see happening. show up in my clients all the time. Last week, we talked about the boredom buyer and the relief seeker.
Germaine Foley 1:04
And today we're going to talk about two others. So this masterclass that I'm going to host next month ties directly into what we are talking about over the next few weeks. So if you make good money, but you know that overspending is keeping you from feeling financially secure, I I want to invite you to sign up for my Stop Overspending Masterclass. It's happening on Sunday, April 19th at 4 p.m. Eastern Time. In this training, I'm going to walk you through why overspending keeps happening. Even though you make good money, we're going to talk about things that I've never discussed on the podcast before. We're going to talk about why things you've tried before haven't actually solved the problem. I'm going to give you tips and strategies that I only usually share with my clients during that class.
Germaine Foley 1:52
So you need to show up live if you want those. And I'm going to talk about what actually needs to shift or change so that you can stop the overspending cycle for good. Now, I want you to know this is not a budgeting class. I do not believe in restrictive budgeting or putting yourself on a no-spend challenge in order to get your finances under control. I am not going to tell you what you should and shouldn't be spending on. I am not going to tell you to stop spending and then wait until retirement to enjoy your life. I do not believe in any of those things. But what I am going to share are things that I have implemented in my life that completely changed everything for me. I was a chronic overspender.
Germaine Foley 2:35
Most of my clients are too, and they are changing their lives. And so in this masterclass, I'm going to be sharing things that I've not talked about on the podcast before and techniques and strategies that I typically reserve for my clients. You're going to get a taste of those inside of this class. So, if you ever thought to yourself, I make good money and my life is good in so many areas, but money is the one area, my finances are the one area where I just can't seem to figure it out. Usually, overspending has a lot to do with that. And I want to help you. And so this training is for you. If you can identify with anything that I just said, you can grab your seat by simply clicking the link in the show notes or by going to Jermaine Foley dot com slash class.
Germaine Foley 3:24
That's Jermaine with a G Foley dot com slash class. Or again, you can go to the show notes to save your seat.

How is the Stop Overspending Masterclass described and who should attend?

Germaine Foley 3:31
And if you have a friend that you want to invite, please share that link with them and bring a friend with you. It's always fun to do these types of classes with someone that you care about and someone who may be working on the same money issues that you are working on. All right, now let's go ahead and dive into today's episode. So last week, as I stated, we talked about two spending patterns that show up when we're trying to escape a feeling. Those two patterns were the boredom buyer and the relief seeker. And typically those show up when you're trying to escape an uncomfortable emotion like boredom, stress, frustration, or even just mental fatigue. But today we're gonna talk about two different patterns that show up in completely different situations.
Germaine Foley 4:21
Not when life feels hard, not when you're trying to escape something, not when you're feeling an uncomfortable emotion, but when life actually feels pretty good.
